Updates from the road:
Didn't take any pictures through Kansas or Missouri because frankly there's nothing to see. It doesn't really get interesting until after St. Louis.
I had plenty of time to look at the gateway to the west though as because we got stuck in some helacious traffic jam in St. Louis. It literally took 1-hour to move 2.5 miles.

I did see a new home made bike condom. We actually saw these guys on day one of the trip too but I didn't get my camera out in time, so I'm glad I got to snap this one on Monday. Yah, that's saran wrap on their bikes...
Watch out for those rain storms in Kentucky. They're real bad, REAL BAD.
