Tulsa Tough Twilight Crit: Race Report
I think I like this race already. It's fun, it's downtown, there's lots of people watching, and they've even got mascots. Today was the first crit of 3 this weekend.
Our race didn't start until 8pm, so it was important to have a little tiny snack before we started.
By the time we finished it looked like this. It was real dark. Twilight crits are fun for the crowd, but not so much fun when you've got night blindness. Beth and I both did well in 7th and 13th, and we made a little money. I made almost enough to pay for my ticket from the aggro cop who gave me a ticket for driving through the blocked off street in order to get to race parking.
