Since I didn't do anything funny or exciting today to blog about I'll blog about the Boulder-Roubaix course that I rode this week to preview for Saturday's race.

So Boulder-Roubaix is another damn dirt race. Last one for a while, phew. This year they're using the old course which could be the new old course or the old new course because I haven't raced it in a couple of years. So I'm not sure if this is the same course as they raced last year, but I know it's not the new course, which, of course is now the old course. So this is the old, old course that I first raced when I raced B-RB.

I like this part of the course, a lot! You know, I'd like it if all the roads were like this. Then we could call it Hugo Road Race and I'd have a chance to win it.

Here's where it gets hard. These don't look like big hills, but they're going to feel like big hills when the Canadian cross queen is trying to break my legs on them.

Watch out for that last turn, it's a doosie.

We rode part of the old, new course too which was getting graded the other day. They were grading the roads dangerously close the the race course too. So I really hope they don't before Saturday because that combined with the snow and rain in the forecast could make for an epic day.
