It's Blue
I picked up my new frame and parts last weekend. I keep on clicking my heels together three times but the bike building fairy still hasn't come to put it all together.

Snow Hike
I stayed up at Beth's house last night so we could go ride today... The snow, however, put a crimp in that plan, so we went for a hike.
It was real cold out. It's hard to believe it was almost 70 degrees out on Wednesday. It's about 15 degrees today.
The overlook of Boulder.
After the hike we did a little tree climbing for our upper body workout.

Deer-tastic
I don't think I've ever seen so many deer in one lawn before (that's 8 of them if you can't see them all)

It was great to spend the weekend with my teammates and do a little riding in Boulder and Denver with my teammates. It was a whole weekend of firsts and learning new things.
I enjoyed spending time with Beth and Sam. He's a real cutie.
And Beth went on her first chariot ride with young Sam.
I also learned about the Bumbo. Apparently it is all the rage in baby contraptions.
I also learned that the moms on the team are "Burley" strong, which means they can ride just as fast, if not faster than you toting around a baby behind. I also learned that babies on team rides result in a lot of "oohing" and "aahing" at the cute babies. (see cute Lucy!)
And last, I learned that the draft behind the mommies on bikes is saawheet!Saturday, January 10, 2009
I went up to Boulder today to hang out with Beth, do a mini-team ride, and celebrate her birthday a few days late. Before the ride Jenna fuels up with some baby formula. It does a body good.
With so many people it was tough to figure out splitting the bill, but good thing Beth had her trusty calculator watch. At $13, it was a bargain and an accessory every 7th grade boy from the 80's would desire.
It was great to see Sam again, he's getting so big, and cute. That boy is going to be a lady killer for sure.
Then we went out to dinner to celebrate Beth's birthday.

Double shot
This is my 3rd double shot of the day before my 2nd session on the rollers. I am not sure which is the sign of a problem.
